We were approached by the RNIB to design and build a stand at the political party conferences. They wanted to provide visitors with experiences of how partially blind and fully blind people have challenges in their every day lives.
With the election on the horizon in October, the original theme for the stand was based around voting. We created a voting booth for MPs to realise the difficulties that can arise for people who partially or fully blind.
However, the election was then called early which meant the voting theme of the stand was not a viable concept anymore and would not have as much impact. This meant we went back to redesign, with our client wanting to create a ‘tunnel of experience.’ The tunnel ended up being called “Cane Street.”
The charity had such good feedback from MPs, with the stand bringing much needed awareness for the RNIB. It was an absolute pleasure working with them.
My personal thanks to Josh and the team for a fantastic build and installs.
