Award-winning ‘Best Third Sector’ stand at the Labour Conference
We’re incredibly proud to have won Best Third Sector Stand at the Labour Conference with our stand for the RNIB! This recognition is a huge honour for us and highlights the dedication, creativity, and hard work that went into bringing the RNIB’s powerful message to life in a way that truly resonated with visitors.
Working with the RNIB, we set out to create an experience that would make a lasting impact, giving MPs and conference attendees a deeper understanding of the daily challenges faced by people who are blind or partially sighted. Originally, our concept centred around a voting booth where MPs could experience the difficulties visually impaired individuals encounter in the voting process – a theme that felt especially relevant with the October election approaching.
When the election was called early, we adapted quickly and reimagined the stand to create an even more immersive experience. The result was the “Tunnel of Experience,” later named “Cane Street” – an interactive journey that engaged visitors by simulating real-life sensory obstacles. We created the experience to leave a lasting impression and help visitors understand the barriers that blind and partially sighted people face every day in public spaces.
“We couldn’t have done it without you.”
The overwhelmingly positive feedback from MPs and visitors was already a huge reward, but winning the Best Third Sector Stand award was an exceptional validation of everyone’s hard work. This award means so much – not only because it acknowledges the effort and ingenuity of everyone but also because it signifies the impact that thoughtful design can have in raising awareness and inspiring change.
A heartfelt thanks to the RNIB, as well as to Josh and the entire team for their incredible work on this project. Working with the RNIB was a pleasure, and winning this award together has been a proud and motivating achievement for us all. We look forward to creating more powerful, purpose-driven experiences that make a difference!

“Hi David
I just wanted to share some good news to finish the week – we won Best Third Sector Stand at the Labour conference!!
Incidentally the winners at Lib Dems told us they thought we had been robbed and should have won there too, but we won it last year 🙂
Thank you so much for all your hard work and passion on creating the stand and for accepting all the changes so late. We quite literally couldn’t have done it without you, and it facilitated a lot of engaging and meaningful conversations with visitors – Deputy PM Angela Raynor even came along!”
